Athena Seafoods was established in 2000 by Julia M. Anthonisen who assembled an international group of investors sharing her vision of a professional sourcing, marketing and exporting company specializing in Norwegian Seafood.

Athena Seafoods continues to be guided by that vision.

The company’s employees have in-depth education and experience in seafood production, export and finance.

The main line of products is based on pelagic fish, salmon and trout, but the company also deals with white fish including dried and salted products. The company specializes in marinated and salted herring products tailor-made for customers.
